The stock fork springs in all Adventures from the factory are .48. Some of KTM's dirt bikes incluing the 150 XC come with .52s. You do the math.
The Adventure is a much heavier bike resulting in abnormal dive under breaking and an overall sense of unbalance. Add panniers and another rider and you have a bike that if in a serious situation and under severe breaking will be unstable resulting in forces transferring to the frame. These forces if not controlled by the suspension cause most riders to go down. Don't wind up in this scenario. Pick up a set of fork springs from us, we have rates from stock on up!
