    Quality kit

The quality of the kit was great. However it took almost 10 weeks to receive the parts.

    KIT ??

All the parts you need to rebuild the pump in one "KIT" A kit implies that all parts are packaged and stocked for immediate shipment. Took 10 days to ship out and another 6 slow UPS days to receive. Just buy the parts yourself and find somebody that will ship USPS, much quicker than UPS. They only work 5 days a week not 7. Otherwise great place to do business.

    Quality seems good but...

As a mechanic this could have been packaged better than just a bunch of individual parts in a bag shipped across the county. Damage of seal, gasket bearings, orings or impeller was highly likely. For the price you pay which is more than most larger engines more care and attention into packaging to prevent damage to parts would have been nice.

Fixed my water pump leak on my 990

If you are of average mechanical ability like I am, changing the water pump shaft and seal and impeller is a bit of work. It took me about three days to do, but this kid comes with everything you need including the crankcase gasket. There's some good videos online, one of the most important things for getting the water shaft seals out was to put the crankcase cover in the oven, while freezing the new bearings, the fit is so snug it's impossible to do otherwise. It's quite a bit of work, but if you're willing to put in the time you can do it with this kit.
