New for 2024 are new strain reliefs at the cord and improved anodizing on the CNC'd aluminum light body.
The New Cyclops Aurora 2 inch lights with DRL ring rated at 4000 lumens for the a set. Using an authentic top binned Cree XHP50 emitter these lights pack a punch!
Built rugged and made to take the abuse of hard core Adventure riding, Racing, Dirt bikes, UTV's,ATV's, Street bikes or whatever you can throw at them.
Dimmer and switch options:
When using these lights with the DRL, the Idea is to run the DRL's during the daytime and allow the main auxiliary light to come on automatically with the high beams. DRL's automatically come on with the key.
The standard wire harness will allow the DRL rings to be on when the key is activated and the main auxiliary light to come on when the high beam is activated. No switch required.
However if you are wanting a low and high beam function you can do that by adding the Skene dimmer and a cutout switch. The switch would allow you to run the DRL's only during the daytime, but at night activated the main auxiliary lights with a low beam that is adjustable from off to 100% in 10% increments. The lights will automatically go to the preset low beam setting via the bikes factory headlight switch and go to 100% in high beam. the added switch simply disables the main auxiliary light, not the DRL rings.
The Skene IQ-275 is for bikes with conventional halogen headlights
The Skene IQ-275 X is for bikes with factory LED headlights. This does not include the BMW line which does not have access to the high beam power wire. Those bikes require the hexcan. Hex Ez Can gen 2-HEX (cyclopsadventuresports.com)
The DRl ring can be setup as a blinker with the IQ-375 controller.(not compatible with the Honda Transalp) featuring conspicuity modes with the patented conspicuity Flicker and auxiliary light modes with main auxiliary light drop out when the blinker is activated. You must add a some type of switch for the 375 controller.
If you are using a Dimmer, You can choose a waterproof toggle switch that can be mounted in the dash or a ADV style handle bar mounted switch.
Like all Cyclops lights we only use the Best Real Cree emitters. R113, R10 TUV and Emark certified IP68 rated.
Includes a full relayed wire harness designed for a Motorcycle, will work on a quad and most UTVs.
When ordered with the Skene controller we prewire the setup into an integrated wire harness, ready to install on your bike.
