This OEM part is in stock and ships in 1-2 business days.I love this bag plenty of room multiple storage area and a great fit it also acts as a great back rest. The people here are fantastic very helpful
The bag is well made and fits perfectly on top of the passenger seat. As others have mentioned the instructions were not very clear but used the same X pattern with the straps under the seat and it's secure. It's also very easy to remove as you can just loosen the straps and take the rear seat off. My only issue is getting on and off the bike. I swing my leg over the passenger set to get on and having the bag there makes it more difficult. I didn't anticipate that, but having the extra storage is worth it.
I ordered this rear bag for my new 2024 KTM 790 Adventure. This bag fits perfectly on the rear section of the factory seat. I agree there is not good directions for installation but once I tried a few different ways to route the included straps under the rear seat I figured out if you connect the four straps into two straps and route the straps under the rear seat in a x pattern then run each end into the bags spring loaded strap hold downs and tighten them as equally as possible the bag works like it was custom made for the 790 adventure!
This KTM rear bag is great!
This bag ended up being perfect for a trip over Beartooth Pass and the Chief Joseph Highway. The paper inside mentioned there were detailed instructions online when you followed the included link, but these instructions were not detailed at all, and were sort of a one-size-fits-all for multiple bike models. Searching on some forums I found that coupling two straps together and wrapping them under the passenger seat allowed me to connect the front of the bag to the bike very well. The extra two straps were easily secured to the rear seat passenger handle. There was a lot of extra strap material, but there are elastic loops at each corner for extra strap management that worked perfectly. The included rain fly was plenty big enough to wrap around the entire bag when full. The bag even included some sticker pads that could be used to prevent rubbing on your motorcycle fairings if this would be a problem with your bike. This was not needed for the 890 Duke R.
