United Statesthis seat , although a bit taller than the OE 1290 SAS seat, is so much more comfortable on longer rides . The base is shaped flatter and has a gel feeling which helps eliminate pressure points felt on the original . You will need a long inseam to use this seat ,even in the low position. The heater portion works good too not that you need it often on a 1290
United StatesGave it a 4 Star because it does increase the seat height ~ 1 Inch, and I Do Not feel any more comfort versus stock seat, I get about the same seat time as the stock seat before my *** starts to hurt. I heated the Drivers seat only, It was plug and play with my bike though finding the connector was a challenge, it is under the plastic cover at the end of the tank near your crotch. If you touch the seat it does not feel that warm but if you sit on the seat you definitely feel plenty of warmth. I ordered the Heated Grips too, Love them, the connector also was tricky to find. Seat and Grips are controlled on the Console independently, with low medium and high, Turn them on via Preferences, then control the temp via My Ride, set them in Quick 1 and Quick 2 so you can access them quickly via the Up and Down Arrow Buttons
