So far this seat has been great. I use the bike to and from work (40 minutes +) and the seat definitely made things more comfortable from the original 2015 seat. It is slightly higher, which for a shorter rider makes it tedious to put the kickstand down. Just have to be careful with the ground underneath me! Regardless I haven't had much issue with planting a foot during stops. Height: 5'6" Inseam: ~29.5" Weight: 180lbs
this seat , although a bit taller than the OE 1290 SAS seat, is so much more comfortable on longer rides . The base is shaped flatter and has a gel feeling which helps eliminate pressure points felt on the original . You will need a long inseam to use this seat ,even in the low position. The heater portion works good too not that you need it often on a 1290
