R&G Right-Side Engine Case Slider for KTM RC8/RC8R and 1290 Super Duke R 2008-2016

1

Avoid watching your bike bleed oil if you happen to tip over. Made of the same nylon R&G manufacturers their frame sliders out of, you can rest easy knowing this is going to take the punishment and not your engine case.

This engine protector was designed to fit the right hand side (RHS) case cover. Crafted from High Density Nylon for strength, durability and good looks. They compliment the R&G crash protectors perfectly. The covers simply bolt on over the original engine casing. Slimline for maximum ground clearance, ultra lightweight, matte finish and protecting one of the most vulnerable parts of the machine. These could save you hundreds of dollars in the event of an accident ...

Fitment isn't close to the case

Alright so after putting some miles on the bike after installing this item; I noticed occasionally that my toe would sometimes not all the time but occasionally would get stuck on the case slider instead no of the brake pedal because of the relation be of where the engine be slider is and the fact that it does slightly stick out about 3/4" from the case it's self even after it's been fully tightened down. I do believe it will hold up in a lowside because of it's sturdy construction though!
