I placed my order at the end of March and according to the website it was supposed to ship after aprox. 1 week. I had to reach out twice to KTM Twins to figure out what was going on and why it was not shipped. The parts were finally shipped one full month later at the end of April. This excessive delay caused me a lot of grief because I was trying to get the bike in the shop before leaving on holidays so that the mechanic would have ample time to work on it. Now the delay is compounded because it's busy riding season and my bike is at the back of the priority queue and still not lowered. I understand that sometimes delays happen, but it is doubtful that I would use KTM Twins again because of the lack of communication. Had I known immediately that the delay would be that excessive I could have made alternate plans for the parts.
