My 2013 KTM690 had been laying on its side since January 2nd, 2018. I was hunting high and low all over the world for this elusive gear. No luck, a couple of hot leads were pursued with great vigour only to be let down at the end through the disadvantage of distance and time zone differences, we are hanging off the bottom of the world you know. I reckon the feeling when I missed not 1, but 3 gears at different times would be like finding out your hot date, is, in fact, a bloke after spending a heap of $ on drinks, and getting her home for a test ride - and you find meat and potatoes, much disappointment indeed. One night while scouring the interwebz, seeking the unobtainable, KTM Twins ride into my browser like Toby Price riding the Dakar - with the missing gear in hand, the order was placed, the gear was packed and sent, I tracked that gear every waking hour - sometimes even when asleep I think. A week or so later the precious arrives, opening the box and behold........the unobtainable does actually exist. The 690 now lives again, I am one hell of a happy Kiwi, and all is right in the world again. Thank you KTM Twins, you will see more business from this bloke down under. Maybe a few people in this big brown land could use your model as the service is definitely better than what has been received at home to date. Keep up the great work Guys&Gals, a very pleasant and easy transaction.
