In addition

In addition to my review I would also like to point out the product in the picture is not the product u receive, the contours in the plastic are different and the door latch in the picture is 1/2inch wide rubber, they provide u with a 2 inch diameter O-ring very thin and flimsy

Over priced poor fitment, poor product description above and fitment that's why I'm writing this

Took a few photos wish I could post them here, for starters the lid in not an easy on off, I wouldn't trust it staying shut with anything loose rattling around inside, the rubber "water resisting' gasket is a very poor fit and will not stay on lid which means u will have to take off your gloves and fiddle with a gasket on your lid of u want it back on "water resistant", fitment wise it almost makes the cut u will have to angle your horn in an upward position and remove a frame to engine support bolt and replace with given hardware, the receiving screws where the box mount on the bracket are tabs! Ktm twins I'm shocked these dont just come with nylon nuts, MOST IMPORTANTLY as I had planned was to put my stock tool kit in the box to avoid wearing a small backpack, KTM twins completely failed to give any dimensions on the box, stock tool kit will not fit, the T bar tool is too wide and the stock axle wrench is too long, may fit in box if u just put the wrench in, so with all that said that's what it is. Now that I see I can't fit my toolkit in here I started thinking what else should I put in here instead? Oh well right? Well the poorly designed rubber band door is not something I wanna take my gloves off for and carefully open while not loosing the door gasket.. so phone wallet keys? Right? Wrong. Again this is not a simple box to open and will be difficult to do with gloves none the less covered in mud, if u do plan on putting precious items such as that I would stuff something in there so they dont rattle to pieces and reccomend taping the door shut, I wouldn't trust it, too small to fit almost anything else in here, probably will return, not a bad product for what it is, no way worth 90 bucks, and KTM TWINS really let me down this time with product description, I doubt it would fit a tire tube for a ktm 690

Great Product

I've been struggling with finding a place to put tools on the 690 Enduro R, and this solved it for me. It allows me to travel lightly - without racks, luggage, etc., yet still have to tools and supplies I need to get me out of a bind. The custom mounting bolt is clever, the bracket is well made, and the tool tube seems to be genuine KTM (looks like the same as on my 640 Adventure R). Well worth picking up if you like to travel on the lighter side, but still want tools handy.
